I have never used them to make preserves before, but I thought they would look beautiful. Food canning and preservation is the way that will help us prolong the shelf life of our food. I love to cook but admit that I know little about Cuban food and through this book I learned so much. What I really enjoy about the book is it has taken me out of my comfort zone.
