The BCS infinitive is biti, and there are two different present tense conjugations. One is used only to give commands and after certain conjunctions; its conjugation is given in [53c]. The other, which is used in all other situations, has three different forms: two long forms known as the full and the negated forms, and a short form known as the clitic form, which will be defined and discussed below in [12a-b].
