We know our God is able to do all things. I commend those Christians who truly do have the confidence to believe that their God will deliver them. Our charismatic brothers and sisters have something to teach many of us in this second step. Many Christians are sometimes afraid to believe that God will deliver them, because of the disappointment they will experience if he does not. Wherever they live, he has made you ruler over them all. You are that head of gold. (2:37, 38) Even here Daniel gave glory to God as he pondered the interpretation. ” As the Apostle Paul wrote, “There is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God” (Romans 13:1b).
