The Walking Reading Group: Walking as Resistance at The Photographers’ Gallery London MARCH 2015

Wednesday 4th March 2015 , 6:30 – 9:00 pm

The Walking Reading Group was invited by The Photographers’ Gallery to create a walk in response to their show HUMAN RIGHTS HUMAN WRONGS.
Tracing the same route as many demonstrations in central London, we used texts by Frederic Gros, Rebecca Solnit, The Museum of London, Jo Freeman and Mark Thomas to consider how walking can be used as a means of resistance in political activism.
